Some Helpful Hints:
1. Don't allow your dog to hang his /
her head out the window while the vehicle is moving.
2. Never leave your dog in a closed
vehicle when the weather is warm. Temperatures rise quickly inside
a car, even with the window down..
3. Always make sure your dog travels
with a secured collar, ID tags and a leash.
4. Never use standard safety belts on
a pet. Instead, restrain your dog with a safety belt designed for
a dog, or by limiting them to the rear of your vehicle with a pet
barrier.
5. Don't let your dog sit in your lap
while you are driving.
6. Bring plenty of water in a plastic
container and a collapsible bowl for your thirsty pet. |
